Director of Sales
This position will be based in the Alexandria,
VA location. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing a sales team of 4 to 6
individuals located across the Eastern United
States. The individual will be responsible for
the performance of the sales staff, monitoring
selling activities, and driving new business
development in the territory. The individual
will also be responsible for managing and
growing a personal business portfolio within the
territory. This position requires an individual
with strong sales and negotiation experience in
a consultative selling environment, preferably
in the CRM, ERP or enterprise software industry.
Leadership skills should include creative
problem solving coupled with business conscious
decision making abilities. The candidate must be
able to accurately scope complex engagements,
structure proposals to accurately depict a
designed solution, and properly position
Velocity Group. This position reports directly
to the President and will work with an expanding
team of sales executives to grow the firm
through strategic planning and execution of new
initiatives. Requirements for this position are:
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred;
10+ years of relevant experience managing a
sales team in a consultative selling and sales

Sales Consultant

Marketing Specialist to lead and participate in the
success of our marketing practice. The candidate
will need to be a marketing generalist and
self-starter, and will be called on to both
participate-in and lead projects while using a
range of skills including technical, project

Specialist is to plan and

Integration Consultant to assist in the design &
architecture of business solutions that require
the integration of our array of products with
other enterprise applications using a
combination of web services and middleware

Velocity Group is seeking consultants with
staffing and recruiting experience for the
federal government. This position will deliver
a variety of staffing services to federal client
agencies. Responsibilities, among others,
include: establish basic qualification
requirements and conditions of employment;
develop agency unique applicant assessments;
perform or coordinate job analyses; develop
vacancy and inventory notices for delegated
examining units and merit promotion processes;
adjudicate veterans preference; determine
candidate qualification; write justifications
for superior qualifications appointments or for
payment of relocation/recruitment bonuses; write
memorandums of understanding to effect
inter-agency details; may use automated system
to build vacancies, post positions, and rate and
rank applicants; assure that all legal and

agencies. Some positions will be working
directly with an automated classification and/or
